Description:

Gage is a very special boy. He is deaf and has been through a rough few months. Gage is a sweet boy but has had very little training. He doesn't always understand when he is making other dogs mad because he cannot hear the warning growls. Gage would love to live with a female boxer who would let him sleep on top of her and would be fine with a boxer boy who doesn't always get social cues.
Gage is anxious in a kennel and prefers to be put in a room when his owners are gone with another dog. He does love to excersise and runs great next to a bike. Unfortunately gage was attacked twice by other dogs in rescue and is currently in boarding. He is very anxious there so will need a special home that will have patience while he gets settled. Please give this poor boxer boy a chance he is ver sweet.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
