Meet Kaiser!  Not only is Kaiser adorable and handsome, but he has had a
rough start to his short life.  Tied to a tree for six months with minimal
food, water and human interaction, he was rescued with a rusty collar 
embedded into his neck. Don't let that fool you, his scars have healed and
he is quite the lover.  The world is his playground! Kaiser holds no grudge! 
Though he does prefer an easy walk harness over a collar which I'm sure you 
can understand.

Kaiser is a very big boy and likes to play like big boys due.  No cats for this boy 
please!  He will also need a home with older children so he doesn't bounce them 
around the house like weebles!

Kaiser is going to need Basic Obedience Training to start and
whatever his owners feel going forward.  He is food motivated so maybe
agility or tracking? 

Kaiser has never had that human / dog bond with anyone and needs a
stable home with that one person or family that can become his to love and
protect forever.

UPDATE FROM KAISER'S ADOPTIVE HOME, JULY 19TH, 2011:

It is always nice to have the opportunity to talk
about our brood :-).  Kaiser did amazingly well through his heartworm
treatment.  He did not have any complications.  Dr. Green gave him the OK
for mild exercise 14 days after his 3rd shot and we were ALL excited for
that!!  He is just a different dog from when he first joined our family. 
He lacked house etiquette for sure!!  He has adapted beautifully to house
life...so much so, that he doesn't even want to go out to go potty most
days unless we go out with him...I think he's letting us know he is NO
LONGER an outside dog :-)  Good thing he has a good bladder!!  Misha and
Kaiser have a love connection.  They love to wrestle, and I would have to
say that Misha has adapted to Kaiser's rough play...he certainly has not
gotten gentler with her. She can hold her own now pretty well.  Her
favorite game is playing keep away with him.  You remember his favorite
football?  Well we have bought many since then, and we have about 3 in our
yard at different levels of decomposition...Kaiser guards them as Misha
tries to steal them away.  We often catch her trying to bury them around
the yard.  Kaiser and Marley are each trying to learn how to live
harmoniously with another male in the house.  For the most part, Kaiser is
respectful of Marley's boundaries.  He licks Marley's face as much as he
can get away with, but Marley spends a lot of time growling at Kaiser when
he gets too close.  At first Kaiser respected it, but there came a day,
probably when Kaiser figured out that this was his house too, that he
challenged Marley.  There have been some fights between the two of them,
and since Kaiser has a bigger mouth and has done some damage, he is using
a muzzle for now.  This way Marley and Kaiser can be together while Marley
learns to stop trying to be the boss!!  Kaiser no longer goes after Marley
when he growls, and Marley growls way less.  We have not had anymore
fights between the boys for weeks.  Kaiser still shows a lot of dominance
with other dogs. Now that he can exercise, Kaiser has resumed his
obedience classes.  He is doing well, and his challenge is not the tricks,
but doing them in a room full of dogs.  Greg was very proud of Kaiser
after last week's class.  At the end of class our trainer had the dogs
socialize with each other.   Kaiser got to play with all the other dogs
and he did GREAT!! No aggression...he has come such a long way.  We are
really happy to have Kaiser in our lives.  Misha says "thank you", and
Marley says "I'm still working on him"....
