Meet Victoria!

This beautiful girl came to MARS to find a nice person or family to call her own.

Victoria has been with her foster family for less than a week now and she's already feeling right at home. She gets along well with both resident dogs: a small one she plays nicely with, and a larger one she rough houses with. She is only mildly interested in the cat. She would do equally well with or without another dog in the home.

She is cautious with strangers but, when treated gently and calmly, warms up quickly. She's happy and playful without being wild. She settles nicely with a chew toy or nylabone. Enjoys being petted and snuggled.

Victoria likes her crate - sleeps quietly all night. Rides super well in the car, likes to go places and walks well on leash. We're working on house training and because she's so smart, I expect she'll figure it out quickly. She will fit in nicely with just about any family or lifestyle.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
