Description:
Meet Hannah! Hannah is very playful, gentle and cuddly. She's great with other dogs and a quick learner. Update from Hannah's foster mom:
We are still working on going to the bathroom outside. She is good about going potty right away when we go outside, however, with the weather being so cold she typically doesn’t do all her business before her tiny feet and belly freeze. I can tell she is a fast learner so I'm sure she'll have it down fully soon.
As of now, she is being kenneled during the day while I am at work and during the night. She does get lonely being in a room by herself so I now put the kennel in my room when I go to bed and she sleeps through the night.
Hannah is very playful and loving with other dogs. She got along with my dog right away. Hannah loves to play tug-a-war with pretty much any toy with our dog.
I have not brought Hannah around any kids yet, however, knowing her personality I would say yes she would do great with children!
We will be working on this within the next few weeks. She knows to come when you call her. There are a few rules I have in my house that she has picked up on right away so I think training will go very well.
She loves toys, food, treats, and bones/rawhides. Hannah loves to be pet and falls right asleep after a few minute of it! She loves puppy beds and pillows. She is just a happy little girl that finds joy in almost everything.
So far the only thing she is not a fan of is baths. She is good about standing still in the tub until she is told she can get out though!
Hannah is great on a leash! She doesn’t make it too long with this weather, but loves to go outside.
No, she rarely ever barks. The only time I have really heard her bark is when I let her out of her kennel after work. Its her just being excited that I'm home which I find adorable. My dog watches out the window then barks when she sees people and Hannah so far never contributes to the barking behavior. I think Hannah would do good in just about any household that has time to give her attention. Although she loves playing with our dog, everytime I sit down she runs straight to my lap to cuddle. Do you think Hannah could be the match you're seeking? *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person! If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.
*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
