Meet Raelyn!

Raelyn and her sister, Jaelyn, are ADORABLE mini aussies! They were surrendered to rescue due to "flaws" that prevented them from being "show quality". Jaelyn has an overbite and Raelyn has luxating patellas.

These girls arrived on September 8 and shortly after came down with canine parvovirus: a highly contagious viral disease that can produce a life-threatening illness. Both girls were hospitalized and received 24 hour care. Thankfully, these little girls are survivors and have made a full recovery!

Raelyn already knows she LOVES people and will follow you to the moon and back. She is a great cuddler and loves to be on your lap.

Raelyn has bilateral luxating patellas that will need to be monitored as she ages. Currently they not causing her any issues as she still loves to run and play! She may require knee surgery in the future.

*Note: Pups this young should not be left alone more than 4 hours at a time to help them with housetraining and socialization.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
