Meet Lainie!

Lainie is coming to us after being confiscated with twelve other dogs and a mother cat/kittens who shared his home. All were surrendered by their owner and have since received medical attention.

The dogs coming from this home have been treated for fleas and will need some time before their skin and coats are back to normal.

Lainie has a tricolor medium smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with delicate features, big brown eyes that beg for attention, a dusting of white on her tiny muzzle, and short floppy ears. This little lady has a sweet disposition. She and her best friend Munchkin were sharing a cage when we took preliminary photos.

Lainie is rather shy when she first meets people but once she's comfortable she is a lap dog! She makes squeaky noises when she would like attention and will readily roll over for some tummy rubs.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
