Hi,

My name is Karma, and I have a crazy story to tell you! I thought I was living happily ever after with a girl who loved me. Then one day, the girls dad decided I couldn't stay. The girl didn't want me to go to a bad place, so she got a hold of a rescue. The rescue gave my family food for me and promised to help very soon. YAY! They just needed to find a foster home for me. That wasn't good enough for the girls dad, so he took me to what they call a high-kill shelter! When the rescue found out, they got the girl to pick me up and take me back home with her. Thank Goodness!!! But, dad got mad and took me to the rescuers house and dropped me off there.

So, I went from being a very loved dog, to a piece of trash to be thrown out on the street corner, in a very short amount of time. I'm a really sweet girl, who just ended up in a bad situation. I have some good new now! I just arrived in rescue and am settling in at a GREAT foster home. It's nice to be back with a family and be loved again. Now I begin the search for my forever home.....

A NOTE FROM KARMA'S FOSTER MOM:

Karma is the perfect family dog. She has settled into her foster family, where she has 3 human sisters and 3 furry brothers. She loves to play with dog toys, snuggle up with the kids, or play with other dogs.

She soaks up all the attention someone is willing to dish out. We recently discovered she loves to play fetch too!

Karma needs some basic obedience training. But, she is eager to please her people, so training would come natural for her. Karma is also fully house and kennel trained.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
