Description:
Hi . My name is Queen .  Let me tell you about me and my new journey.

Not sure if you can tell but I'm a pomeranian. At trim 19 lbs I may that and some other cool breed  like corgi as well.

Anyway.
Before I came to MARS I didn't know how great it was to be treated like a Queen.
They tell me I've come a long way  since then . All the things I done and experienced so far are scary but Oh so wonderful.  I'm still timid especially when meeting new people.  But give me some time and patience then you can see that I'm a people pleaser that  loves pets and snuggling right beside you.

At my fosters home I have meet cats and other small dogs and have done really great. The cats took me a hot second to realize they are ok but I rather just leave them alone.  Especially if one is a jerk , not naming names but he knows who he is.

Lately I have been working on my potty training and trust , they told I'm rocking at both of these but still need work. My trust keeps going after gaining some confidence.  I would love to have my new home help me continue this progress.  I still need a lot of work on leash training so I would prefer a fenced in yard for my safety.  Like when i do zoomies. Another dog maybe nice too incase i get lonely when no humans are around.

This play stuff is new to me and I have tried it a few time and believe I would like to do it more. This word toy has me confused,  I see the others dragging these funny looking stuffed squeaky things around. I may try that to it looks interesting.

I could go on but if you give me a chance you'll be able to see more of what we can do together.
Let me know if you want to meet in person by clicking on the adoption application so we can set up Tea  &  Treat  ( just treats would be fine)

By for now . Queen .

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
