Description:
Muddy Buddy is the perfect introvert. He takes a little while to adjust to a new environment but is quite the cuddle bug when he gets to know you. Buddy has great big purs and sometimes chats about his day.

His favorite places include the nursery, bed, and window.

Buddy would do well in a quieter home and can live with dogs, cats, and kids.

Buddy loves our toddler as long as she doesn’t try to pick him up. He enjoys napping on the changing table and checks on her when she sleeps. He is not bothered when she is running around and he appreciates her sharing her toys with him in his own way.

Buddy is weary of other animals but is agreeable to sharing a home with other furry roommates if they give him some space. He’s a lover, not a fighter so if there are any other animals in his forever home, he would need a calmer personality.

This boy is approximately 10 years old and clearly had a home at some point in his life. His whole life was turned upside down when he was found as a stray.

Buddy is blossoming in foster care and would love a family that will love him forever.

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
