Mandy update from her new foster

Mandy is absolutely a wonderful little girl!  She settled into her new
foster home in a flash.  She loves playing with the 2 resident dogs.
Mandy likes to take their rawhide bones and lay down in front of them to
try and get them to chase her.  But she does respect their space if they
don't want to play. We can pet her, touch her food, move her bowl while
she is eating and she doesn't care at all.  She really enjoys going on
walks and snuggling on the couch.  She is crate trained, but does sleep
with us at night. If I am working on the computer, or whatever, she will
just lay down nicely and wait for me.  She did meet the resident cat at
my vets, and didn't give her a second look.

We are working on her basic commands.  She is now getting the hang of
the sit, and we are also working on stay.  She is very smart and really
wants to please us.  She is so fun loving and sweet.  She will make a
great addition to any family!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
