Hi!

My name is Ozzie and I am looking for a home. Right now I am living with my foster family. They have kids and other dogs so its a fun place to live, but I want to know what it feels like to have a place of my own.

Want to know a little about me?

Well I like to play tug of war with my toys, chase tennis balls and chew on ice cubes. I like to snuggle in the recliner with my foster mom when I can. I really like to make sure that everyone in the house is safe. Like this one time I smelled something funny and started to bark and my foster mom asked what was wrong, so I took her to the kitchen and there was smoke coming out of the oven. She was so happy and proud of me. Especially since the smoke detector didn't sound an alarm. I got treats and lots of petting that day.

If you adopt me I will promise you two things. One, to always be happy when you come home. Two, no matter how bad your day was I will love you unconditionally.

Ozzie is a great dog. I know he would do well in any situation. He still has some puppy in him but he listens well. He comes when you call him or whistle for him, he sits and gets in his kennel on command. If we didn't already have two dogs this would be his permanent home. I am really going to miss him when he gets adopted. He will always show you lots of love. He is a great snuggler.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
