Description:

Hey- I am Adam.

Yep, an AKC German Shepherd, pretty hot stuff if you ask me. You should ask me because I really want to find a new home and to do that I need to tell you how important I am!!

People say I am aloof, but that is just another way of saying I am respectful of your personal space… right?!?! I simply love to take adventures and can walk and hike and run from sun up to sun down. I really need a fenced in yard, not trying to be picky, just trying to be smart!

I do not know much about the feline specimen as I have never had the pleasure of meeting one, but I have played at the dog park and hung out with some like minded K-9’s before and we hit it off pretty well.

I would like to think I am a pretty good catch, and hey maybe I could help you find your perfect catch; they do say dogs bring out the sensitive side in people!

UPDATE FROM ELI'S ADOPTIVE HOME, JULY 19TH, 2011:

Eli aka Adam is doing beautifully. He is a very happy dog and very
curious. He loves to play with his new friend Abbey. Although sometimes
Abbey looks at him like he's crazy, he runs circles around her
(literally). He likes to go to the dog park and swim (he thinks he's a
Lab.) Loves the water. He has a lot of energy (more than I do) so we go
for a bike ride first and then we can go for a nice leisurely walk. We
started obedience training last week in Burnsville and he was on very good
behavior (mom was proud). People have stopped us on the street to comment
on how handsome he is and where did we get him. I of course am happy to
say that I rescued him from Midwest Animal Rescue and am forever grateful
for the new guy in my life.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
