Lacy is a sweet girl who is looking for her forever home!

She loves people and other dogs and enjoys play time and snuggle time.

Lacy does great when baby gated in a room when left alone but HATES a crate and will bark when placed inside. Her foster is working on crate training her but it may take some time.

05-23-12 Update from Lacy's AKA Luna's adoptive home!

Just wanted to send you a quick update now that we have officially adopted
Luna (we renamed her from Lacy)

She has been doing great here and is everything we wished for. She loves
playing in the backyard so much that we have trouble getting her to stay
inside for long. I have started to notice that her favorite thing to play
with is a stick, so I have started to train her to play fetch with them and
maybe a tennis ball/frisbee here and there. She is also a natural at
following along and jogging on a leash, so I will be sure to take her on
plenty of runs as she starts to get older!

That aside, she truly is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and I
really can't wait to spend the next chapter of my life with her by my side!

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
