New Name-Ladybird!

Ladybird is an adorable beagle mix who is approximately 4 years old. She is a lovable, low maintenance dog. She is usually pretty mellow but at times can be silly and run in circles. She enjoys walks and does well with a gentle leader.

Ladybird is housetrained (no accidents). She does not need a crate and has free roam of the house during the day when her foster mom is at work, and at night. She gets along with the cat in her foster home. Ladybird also gets along with other dogs but does not show an interest in them beyond sniffing them.

Ladybird prefers to be around people! Ladybird does not bark often. She knows how to “sit” and “stay” to earn a treat, and she takes treats gently. She is not picky about the dry food that she eats (Ladybird is currently on a “healthy weight” diet because she entered her foster home a little on the chubby side).

Ladybird has beautiful brown eyes that will melt your heart and will be a loyal companion to any loving owner.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
