UPDATE: Gayle aka Abby is the most amazing and well behaved dog you could ever ask for. She looks to be a Rottie mix and is a dream in her foster home. She does not make a peep in the crate and she shows no food agression with the other dogs. She is good with the cats in the home and very comfortable around the horses as well. She knows some commands and is good on a leash. How anyone could let this beautiful girl end up at a shelter is beyond me. She loves her people in the house and will follow them around and stay by their side. She is not destructive and a perfect angel with items in the house. She has the funniest stumpy tail and could not figure out what was going on with that cute tail! She is all love and would make a great dog in any home.

Gayle says, "Look into my eyes, take me home." Gayle is a very sweet girl that has found herself at a shelter. She plays well with other dogs and wants to go to a home where she will be loved forever. She will be a great addition to your family and will repay you in doggy kisses and long walks in the park. *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
