Update from Lambo's foster:

Lambo has been adjusting great. He was a little nervous the first few days but has gotten into the groove. He loves playing with our dog and has a lot of energy.

Lambo does great in the wire kennel while we are at work and has picked up the bell system we use to signal wanting to go outside without any one on one training, he is SUPER SMART!

He loves toys! He pulled out every toy and has carried them around the house. He was outside with me most of the day on Sunday and did great exploring the yard.

He hasn't been getting on furniture (even our bed), does a great job with door greetings by not jumping, and we haven't seen him counter surf. He is totally awesome and I can't wait till I'm done with school tomorrow to really start working with him on sit, down, come and hopefully more!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
