Meet Harvey!

Harvey is an adorable little guy with the cutest personality! He is very sweet and will make a great buddy for his new family.

Update from foster home:

Harvey got out for his first walk with us today with this warm weather. He did great on the walk, not to much pulling except when he saw those pesky squirrels!

He also went with us and Molly to petco. He did great at petco, soaked up all the attention and even got a few tips on improving manners (sit and not jumping on people to say hi) Harvey also picked out a new harness for walks and a fun new collar to wear.

We haven't had an accident issue in the house today or yesterday YAY! He loves playing with Molly and is learning to share and play with them same toys together instead of hogging them. He also really loved to meet other dogs at petco, he was super friendly with them.

He pretty much ignores the cat and back away from him if the cat gives him warning that he's too close, so he would do fine in a house with cats.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
