Jada is 6 years old and unfortunately we are in a financial crisis and are having to give her up. She is a good dog with a very Doberman distinct personality. She is not a licker, or jumper. She loves to be petted and have her head scratched, She will actually use her nose to push under your hand and push it in the air until you pet her. She loves big kids and is good around our three cats. One, which is only a year old and gotten as a kitten. We have never had her around small children for a period of time, but for the few that came over she has been good. Jada likes to go on walks but will pull and yank if you don’t take control. She is very strong but has never attempted to hurt anyone. She is an inside dog, if you leave her out for two long she will dig holes, but only after a few hours. Her favorite toys are big ropes which she like to paly tug of war with. Jada is scared of storms and is hard to get to go out in the rain. She is an excellent watchdog and will bark when anything out of the ordinary is in the vicinity. ( not a guard dog, she is really just a big Scooby Doo) She has never had another family and would like her to go to someone who will keep her for the rest of her life. Bad Habits – - Will eat Fleece items left laying out, just fleece. - Pick up socks left laying around and carry them around in her mouth, doesn’t chew them up just carries them around. - Will dig holes if left for too long outside - Pulls on chain when walking *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
