Kinsey is a 2 year old black and tan doberman girl who is cropped and docked. She is coming into rescue from a high kill shelter. She kept showing up at the shelter as a stray and the owners didn't get her back this time. The shelter says that when she was a puppy she got bit in the head by another dog and her jaw was broke. It healed improperly but she can eat and drink just fine. Kinsey is good with cats and dogs.

Update from Kinsey's foster home:

Kinsey is as sweet as they come!  She was instantly accepted by the resident dogs due to her easy going, wonderful temperament.  Kinsey is a quiet, loving, well mannered girl.  I'm still waiting to hear her bark.  I gave her a much needed bath, nail trim and ear cleaning.  She is one of the easiest dogs to groom.  She just laid back and let me do anything I wanted to her including using the dremel on her long nails.  She is perfect in her crate all night long and she's completely house trained.  We are working on her leash walking.  She's getting used to the Gentle Leader and making great progress.  Stairs were new to her and she's learning to navigate those as well.  Kinsey is adjusting very nicely considering all the recent changes in her young life.  Watch for another update soon as we get to know this sweet little girl.

Update:

Kinsey is finally done being a mother!  She is getting spayed today so no more puppies are in her future.  She raised her last litter of 8 beautiful doberman puppies and now it's time for a forever home of her own.  She walks wonderfully now with a Gentle Leader and she really looks forward to her daily walks.  She is still as sweet as they come and loves everybody she meets.  You can meet her in person at the Fetch Delivers adoption event this Saturday, February 14th from 11-1pm.  We hope to see you there!
