Taise is ready to start a new life and find her forever home. Can you give this sweet girl a second chance?
Poor Taisie, first she is left to die in a high kill shelter in MO, she gets saved right before she is due to die, is now in a great foster home with a wonderful foster mom who loves her, and now we find out she is heartworm positive. She is just a baby. Please help us help Taisie. We are looking for a foster home that is quiet for after her treatments so she can mend and get ready for that so deserved long wonderful life with a family of her own. Taisie is the sweetest, petite little thing. She loves people, just wants to be by you, and if you pet her she thinks she’s won the lottery. The look in her eyes is pure heaven. She’s appears to be house broken, no accidents in the house. She’s getting along fine with the two resident dogs — their size and exuberance don’t seem to bother her at all, she jumps right in and plays.

She loves meeting new people and I’ve only heard her bark once. She is learning to walk well on a leash.

A gentle voice and hand will be all you need, she wants to please everyone. She sits nicely for treats and takes them from your hand very gently.

She’s going to make someone a wonderful pet — she’d love nothing better than her own family to love!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
