Description:

Meet Shilioh! Shiloh came to us this past spring with her surprise litter of pups! All the babies have long since gone home, but Shilioh is still awaiting her forever home.

Shiloh may possibly be the world’s best cuddler. She is an expert in this field. I don’t think there is a human that she doesn’t love to bits. Her favorite activity is getting ear scratches while you watch your favorite movie with her.

She is crate trained and house trained. Shiloh had heartworms when she arrived but has gone through the process to kill off the heart worms. She is currently on a doggy bedrest of sorts while she heals from the treatment and she is doing fantastic with it. Such a sweet girl! Shilioh is happy with respectful children as well.

Shiloh is a bit selective with other dogs. She has lived with many dogs, loves puppies and enjoys the dog park, but does not like dogs that are intrusive or in your face kid of dogs. We believe that she is fearful when it comes to wild, in-your-face kind of dogs based on there body language (she wants them to just go away from her). She would love to live as a solo dog as she would eat up the attention, or live with mellow older dogs that respect her boundaries.

This girl is all love and will make a great companion for someone out there that wants to dote on her and give her lots of love and snuggles. Is that someone you?

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
