Meet Rosa!

Rosa is a sweetie pie & loves attention from just about anybody! She gets along great with dogs of all sizes, ages, & personalities! Rosa had 3 beautiful pups about a week after she arrived at MARS. Once her pups all found their forever homes, Rosa can now concentrate on finding her forever home, where she can play, love and live the life she deserves.

Rosa is a darling little love bug that is dainty, alert, family oriented, and enjoys outings. She is housetrained. When she was on a weeklong vacation at another foster home, Rosa thoroughly enjoyed the company of the 7 other dogs in the home that ranged in size from 18 to 45 lbs. Initial greetings were a flurry of friendly sniffing, however, if she is out and about a proper introduction will need to be made with new pups on the paths. Once proper smelling has happened Rosa is very affectionate with other dogs
.
When Rosa has to use the restroom, she will suddenly be at her foster mom's feet with an eagerness that is not typical of her indoor behavior. Once outside she picks a spot and finishes with a little kicking dance and stretch of her adorable limbs. Her entire foster family really enjoyed that display each time! A pup that can make you laugh and smile even during a routine outing, is a breath of fresh air to lift your spirits throughout the day.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
