Looking for my forever home!

Hello my name is Maggie, I was a rescued from a high kill shelter by a wonderful family who took me into their home and showed me what it's like to be loved. So here I am looking for a new forever home.

I enjoy the company of people all ages, children are so fun to play with they never get tired of throwing a ball or sharing food with me. My previous foster parents called me "Waggie Maggie." I know it's a silly name but earned that nick name because, I got so excited whenever they came home or they have company over that I'd wag my whole body. I can't help it I love people and when they show me attention, it makes me so happy then the dancing just starts and I don't even need any music. Your more than welcome to join me if you would like to.

I'm a petite little girl, at just under 40 pounds. And, I'm around 10 months old, so I might grow a little bit more.

I just arrived in my new foster home in MN. I got to go to a dirt bike race! I also met lots of new people and dogs. I loved them all, and they loved me! Then, I got to go to the dog park! There was this really cute boy Boxer there. We ran and played until we were both exhausted. See our picture below....

Hopefully I'll find my forever home soon!

Love Maggie

A note from Maggie's rescuer:, All though we have truly enjoyed our time with our little Waggie Maggie the wiggle worm. We will be sad to see her go, yet excited to know that someone will enjoy her as much as we have.

She is such a special girl with so much love in her big green eyes when ever she looks at you and smiles it just melts your heart. I have to admit that we have spoiled her by letting her stand up and put her feet on our shoulders as we give her a body rubs :~) Yeah she is a fan of the body rubs. After Maggie gets a body rub she runs around and act's so silly it's truly priceless to watch. Maggie will be such a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a true sweetheart.

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
