Meet Cara!

Cara was surrendered to the shelter along with her 4 siblings. She is an active and very sweet pup that is sure to bring lots of joy to her new home.

Cara is the biggest puppy of the litter, and is the boldest. She'll be the first to come out and check out someone or something, then turns a little timid, still wagging up a storm with her tail. Her puppy name was Stevie Nicks, and if fits her because she is a diva. She clearly has a good sense of humor and is always smiling. Her favorite position is flat on her back, waiting for a tummy rub. She has all the makings of a bed hog, as she likes to spread out when she sleeps. Her markings are awesome-- she'll be a very handsome dog when she grows up!

*Pups this age should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time for socialization and housetraining purposes.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
